The Golden Age

While this page is meant to “fill in the gaps” from a story that began in 2008, it’s just as important that you know who I am at the core.

I am a proud and unapologetic Patriot who believes we are truly stepping into The Golden Age. And I’m excited to be a part of all the incredible things coming our way. 🌟

Regardless of politics, I see only this: my fellow Americans.

I long for the day when we can unite behind success — the kind that comes from America First policies being implemented.

These policies, combined with deregulation, are finally opening the door for entrepreneurs like us to thrive in ways we’ve never been able to before.

There has never been a better time to pursue our dreams, together.

Back in 2008, my husband at the time and I were long-haul truck drivers, looking for a way to come off the road. Drop shipping was all the rage, and with nothing more than a Verizon hotspot and a lot of determination, we jumped in.

From the cab of our ’08 Kenworth, we launched TruckinTreasures.com. I personally uploaded more than 2,500 products, convinced this was going to be our ticket to financial freedom. In our minds, it was simple: build the site, wait for the orders, and change our future.

We launched with excitement, anticipating the flood of sales that would come while we slept. Spoiler alert: none came. Day after day, nothing. Our first call to a so-called “professional” ended with empty promises and wasted money. Thousands of dollars later, we realized that buying traffic wasn’t the answer.

The dream of easy online income had crashed. But in its place came something more valuable: the hard-earned lesson that if I was going to succeed, I had to understand how websites really worked.

🔗 Affiliate Lessons

When TruckinTreasures failed, I wasn’t done — I was determined to figure out why. That curiosity led me into affiliate marketing and, eventually, deeper into SEO.

Affiliate marketing is basically selling other people’s products for a commission. Sounds simple, but to make it work you need more than links — you need websites, content, and strategy.

I learned the hard way that you can’t just throw products on a page and expect success. Each product line needed its own space, its own story, its own website. That realization became the foundation of my website-building skills.

Those lessons didn’t just stay theoretical. I began applying what I learned in real life — helping friends, testing strategies, and proving that these ideas actually worked outside of affiliate links.

That’s when Darbi, a dear friend, invited me to bring those skills into her world…

Darbi’s Café is more than a Pinetop restaurant—it’s a landmark. Nestled among tall pines, it’s where locals gather, memories are born, and every plate is served with heart.

When Darbi invited me to help, it wasn’t about marketing—it was about community. A few unwanted Yelp reviews had stolen her joy. Together, we began responding to every review—no exceptions.

What happened next wasn’t algorithmic; it was human. Guests saw she cared. Google rewarded authentic engagement. Most importantly, Darbi rediscovered her joy behind the counter.

📣 The Yelp Years

If Darbi’s Café taught me anything, it was this: reviews can make or break you. They don’t just reflect what customers think — they shape how the world (and the web) sees you.

The Yelp Years were an eye-opener. Negative reviews weren’t just words; they were heavy enough to crush joy, stall momentum, and even close doors. But I also saw the other side: how responding with honesty and heart could flip the narrative.

Lessons from the Yelp Years

  • Silence never helps. Ignoring reviews only gives the negative ones more weight.
  • Every response is a signal. To customers, it shows you care. To search engines, it shows engagement.
  • Reputation is SEO. It’s not separate. It’s all connected.

I learned to treat every review like a conversation, not a judgment. And while it wasn’t always easy, it shaped my philosophy: online success isn’t about gaming systems, it’s about showing up authentically.

Managing those reviews taught me lessons I carry into every project today: that honesty matters, consistency builds trust, and authentic connection always wins.

Relentless Resilience

Life knocked me down more times than I can count — but I never stayed there. Every setback became fuel, every failure another lesson.

When the world told me “no,” I dug deeper. When the spark dimmed, I fought to reignite it. And when the fog finally lifted, I wasn’t just standing again — I was running, stronger and faster than before.

“Like the Phoenix, I rise from the ashes — renewed, unbroken, and more determined than ever. This time, nothing can hold me back.”

In Conclusion

If my story tells you anything, it’s this: resilience wins, persistence pays off, and integrity always leads the way. If you’re ready to build something real — with honesty, grit, and results — let’s get started.
